Andrea reportedly put in a rider to star in Mankatha. When director Venkat Prabhu approached her with a small role in the film, she had put in a condition to accept the role. As per reports Andrea requested Venkat that she be given an opportunity to sing at least one song in the film.

Venkat also agreed to it and is happy today because the song has come out very well. In Mankatha, Andrea plays Arjun’s pair and this role is said to be minuscule. Despite being a very small role, the actress agreed to it just because she was offered an opportunity to sing a song, as singing happens to be her passion.
