A source close to the unit of ‘7am Arivu’ has revealed that the music for this film might hit stands towards the end of May or by the beginning of June. The film, which is in its post-production stage is slated for release by July. Though reports have not revealed exactly the amount for which the deal has been clinched it has subtly hinted that Sony Music bagged the deal for a huge sum.
Despite stiff competition by many music giants running to acquire the rights of A.R. Murugadoss’ new offing ‘7am Arivu,’ Sony Music has emerged winner. The music director of the film Harris Jayaraj has teamed with the Suriya-Murugadoss duo after six years. Their first stint together was ‘Ghajini,’ which grossed gold at the box office down South as well as in Bollywood.
With little doubt left about history repeating itself after ‘Ghajini’ the fans of Suriya and Harris Jayaraj are patiently waiting for the music and the film to be a huge hit. The story of ‘7am Arivu’ is touted to be a psychological thriller. Shruthi Haasan shares screen space with Suriya in this film, and this is her debut as a heroine in Tamil. The film will be brought into theatres by Red Giant Movies.
